Prep

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, leaving out the garnishes. Pulse until a choppy dough forms. The mixture should be sticky and cohesive. Transfer the dough to a bowl.
  2. Place the cocoa powder and shredded coconut in two separate bowls. Roll the dough mixture into small bite-sized balls with your hands. Then roll the shaped balls in the cocoa or in the shredded coconut until well-coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  3. To store, place in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
